This print explores the historic mining area of Cornwall’s north coast and its fantastic landscape. This area of Cornwall around St Agnes and Perranporth also provides the dramatic backdrop to Winston Graham’s famous Poldark novels. The former engine house of Wheal Coates is a vivid landmark on this length of coastline.
Rebecca Darch lives & works in Cornwall and has a love of the outdoors and getting involved in all sorts of creative projects. She has been painting for most of her life. Studying Art Practice at Glamorgan University 2004-2007 and also her Masters in Curatorial Practice at Falmouth University, graduating in 2009. Inspired by nature, wildlife and the landscape around her.
