MonChic Mosaics is Cornish artist and maker Kirsty Freeman. Kirsty has always been a keen artist, but her love for mosaics was reignited during lockdown 2020. She works mainly with ceramic, glass, slate, and broken pottery and has a real love for colour and texture, and often experiments with mixed media pieces.
Kirsty loves the journey each mosaic takes her on and finds it rewarding watching it grow piece by piece. Kirsty enjoys experimenting with materials, lines, shapes, and textures, taking inspiration from the Cornish landscape, her children and the art world.
