The majority of Ellen’s paintings are inspired by the Cornish coast however we are delighted to exhibit Some Lilies Original Painting that was inspired by the beautiful botanicals that have been in bloom in Cornwall over the summer. Ellen uses fluid expressive brushstrokes to create dynamism in her work. She enjoys capturing the colours and shapes of various botanical structures to create abstracted expressions of her surroundings.
Ellen Frances is an artist living and working in Cornwall. Ellen enjoys reflecting the beauty of an area with the changing weather and seasons. Ellen paints on location and is often found in the sand dunes or clifftops with a paintbrush in hand. Her work is expressive and atmospheric which captures the feel and movement of the landscape.
