Day by the Sea Original Painting captures the energetic feel of the sea washing in over the golden sands of the beach. Angela’s paintings evoke a sense of freedom and enjoyment of the coast.
Angela’s mixed media paintings can include watercolour, acrylic, gouache and pastels. She also uses different papers to create various textures in her work. Her most recent series of paintings take inspiration from the landscape around Cornwall. The colours and shapes in her work reflect the atmosphere and feel of the places she paints.
Angela grew up in a small village in the countryside of Cumbria. An idyllic place between the high peaks of the Lake District and the grey waters of the Solway Firth. She has lived and worked in London, Paris, Spain, Zimbabwe & Maryland, USA. Angela has been awarded signature membership in the Virginia Watercolour Society. She was also invited to exhibit in the Easton Academy of Art and the Ward Museum of Art.
