Emma Bass is a papercut artist living in Penryn, near Falmouth in Cornwall. She uses a craft knife to cut thin, coloured card and create bold, colourful and graphic designs of many subjects, from wildlife to houseplants. Emma has a background in science and wildlife and this can be seen in her detailed representation of the natural world. She likes to focus on details such as feathers to give her work a realistic, yet stylised feel. Emma also takes custom commissions of pets and people.
