Moongazing Hare with Flowers Ornament features a sitting hare resting next to two daisies, one purple and one red. Both copper and oak are textured with beautiful embossed patterns. The copper has been given a warm antiqued patina before being mounted on warm oak blocks. Also all of the oak has a a lovely soft sheen that only beeswax can give – and the lovely aroma to go with it! As each ornament is handcrafted no two are ever the same. Creating beautiful miniature works of art to decorate your home.
Working in her warm, colourful studio in Hampshire on the south coast of the UK, Joanne Tinley creates beautifully patterned sculpture & jewellery for people who love being close to nature. The Woodland Collection takes traditional motifs such as leaves, flowers, foxes and hares and gives them a playful and contemporary twist. Her favourites are the foxes and hares as they are more of a challenge to saw from the sheet metal.
Each piece of Joanne’s work is designed and created using a mix of modern and traditional techniques. Hand sawn from copper and textured with beautiful embossed patterns.
