Annie Rees is an artist who has lived and worked in Cornwall for the last fifty years. Having recently retired she has picked up the paintbrush again and returned to her love of painting. Having travelled and lived in France, Spain and Italy she always found herself returning to Cornwall, the place she is happiest. Annie’s works are based on Cornwall and the land that surrounds her. Working with oil paint she creates drama and atmosphere with her colour blends and brushwork. From stormy seas to peaceful beaches Annie transports you into the beautiful landscape of Cornwall.
